Combining a strong analytical focus and technical prowess, Jon Warner shines as a detail oriented, confident and spirited communicator. These style characteristics differentiate him in his field. Jon is the owner of JP Warner Associates and Human Resource Administrators, a Third Party Administrator (TPA) delivering administration processing solutions including HRA, HSA, FSA, Plan Document, COBRA and Section 6055 / 6056 reporting services.  He also co-owns Warner Benefits, Inc. with his brother Andrew. Jon’s corporate awareness of how each of these tools integrates with wellness focused employee benefits strategies inures favorable benefits plan perception while controlling costs.

In the maze of rising health care costs and legislative uncertainty, Jon illustrates strategic solutions that stand out as logical, caring and practical. Jon consults for large, complex, multi-site self-insured employers across a breadth of businesses. His approach is also adaptable for mid-size and smaller employer groups. Recommendations are delivered with creativity that is respectful of the unique culture characteristics of organizations.

His powerful leadership experience, engaging speaking style and calm confidence make him sought after for contract negotiations, consulting projects and public speaking events for prestigious organizations and non-profit groups. Jon looks at health insurance in a contemporary light both philosophically and financially as the author of the books Winning the Health Care Game (2016) and How to Win the Health Care Game (2013). His first book, published in 2009 is titled Making Sense of 21st Century Health Insurance Plans.

A Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Jon is a graduate of an intensive educational program developed by The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  He has maintained his “Fellowship” status with this organization since 2002.  Jon holds a BA in Political Science from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. 

Married for almost three decades, Jon and his wife Vicki have enjoyed raising three wonderful children while living in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. Jon enjoys golf, skiing and singing as favorite activities. His devotion to education includes serving as Chairman of the J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust offering college tuition assistance to golf caddies, as a Trustee for the Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Bryn Mawr, PA. He also serves on the board of the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale and on the board of the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital.
